Bodybuilding Myths: Are They True?

It has been misunderstood by many teenagers that they can easily workout on bodybuilding for 3 weeks, and then take a break of 2 weeks without having any effects on their progress. Unfortunately, this is acute inconsistency and it will prevent their gaining any improvements. When they stop, they actually have to start from point one when they re-start later on.

If you want to be a successful bodybuilder, you have to ensure that you keep to a strict and consistent diet and training program. Even your rest time has to be consistent. Without this consistency, a bodybuilder will not be able to see any improvement at all.

Another observation on the behavior of bodybuilders, which indicate that they do not have a plan, is for them to wander from equipment to equipment. People who do this will also not achieve any success in their bodybuilding progress and worse, they might even face the danger of injuring their muscles.

This shows that there is no proper planning before they embarked on their bodybuilding process. Before starting on any bodybuilding exercise, you can actually consult a professional or take a look at a famous and successful bodybuilder’s workout plan first. This will prevent a waste of time as well as unnecessary injuries.

However, do not try to follow the training routine of a bodybuilding champion, as it is usually too complex and taxing for you, especially if you are a newbie or still a teenager. Because they are champions, the amount of time they spend on training is definitely going to be much more then what you really need so if you need help, refer to someone popular and successful will do. Go for something at the lower end first and then slowly work your way up. You are more likely to gain success that way.

Unless you have already been training for over ten years, do not attempt these complex workout systems. After training for over ten years, your body would really be used to all these routines and so they would not hurt you if you try someone more stressful but definitely not when you are still a teenager. In fact, it might lead to the bodybuilder being over-trained and injuries will result. Therefore, consider the level and amount of time carefully first before training.
