What Research is Taking Place?
More research on the benefits of magnesium therapy for CFS/FM is required. While further studies are needed, preliminary data suggest that a large proportion of the approximately 8 million patients with CFS/FM in the U.S. could benefit from dietary supplementation with both vitamin D and magnesium. These findings and preliminary research suggest that the time may be right to establish high dose vitamin D and magnesium supplementation as a primary therapy for a disease previously considered by many to be ineradicable.
